What happens when a candidate applies

When a candidate applies for a role, their details arrive in Clara via the integration — from InfoJobs, an ATS, or another source.

Clara then reaches out to the candidate via WhatsApp and pre-qualifies the candidate with a series of questions specifically created based on your role requirements.

Booking the interview once shortlisted

Once a recruiter shortlists a candidate, they send a booking invite directly from the Clara dashboard. The candidate receives a WhatsApp message with a single-use link to choose their interview slot.

Single-use means one booking per link. Once a slot is taken, the link is blocked. This prevents duplicate bookings and eliminates the need for manual calendar management.

The candidate books in seconds — no login, no form, no back-and-forth with a recruiter.

What confirmation looks like

After booking, Clara sends a confirmation email with the meeting details. For online sessions, the meeting link is included.

24 hours before the interview, the candidate receives a WhatsApp reminder.

This reminder includes native Quick Reply buttons: ✅ Yes or ❌ No. The candidate taps their response — no message to type, no app to open.

If they confirm, their status moves to Confirmed. The 1-hour reminder fires as normal.

If they decline, the slot is freed automatically. The recruiter is notified. The next candidate can book.
